I was abused in everyway imaginable as a teenager. I thought when I got married I could just push it out of my life and never deal with it again. However,I soon learned that you"can run but you can't hide from your past." We had been married several years when I began battling a very deep depression. However, I was one of those people that believed to ask for help from anyone meant I was a weak person and I should be strong enough to fight whatever was happening to me. As a result of that attitude the depression became deeper and deeper and my marriage was suffering terribly. However, I still refused to ask for help from any mental health professional. I knew I could not sit in an office and look at someone and tell them my problems. For some reason one night when I felt I couldn't face another day and taking my own life was the only way out, I decided to look on the internet for help because I knew suicide would hurt my family so badly. I typed in the words "help for suicidal persons" and I feel by the Grace of God" I was led to Dr. Dailey's web site. I really feel she saved my life and my marriage.
I"m not saying she waved a magic wand and made everything all better. It's been hard work dealing with my past and talking with her about the extent of the abuse that I went through. However, I have faced my past and I am still dealing with the past and I probably have years more of dealing with my past. However, I no longer have that helpless, hopeless feeling that I had for so long. I know I have hard work ahead of me but I also know Dr. Dailey will be there to help me through that hard work. When I get discouraged about the length of time it seems to be taking me to deal with these issues, I just remind myself I went through years of abuse and it's probably going to take years of counseling. However, I am not in this by myself any longer, Dr. Dailey is there with me. If I find myself in a real crisis and I need help from Dr. Dailey sooner than the weekend I simply put urgent in the subject line and she answers ASAP.
I thank God on a daily basis that e-mail counseling is available and that I was able to find it and Dr. Dailey.

Most email therapists charge to read each of your emails. Dr. Dailey only charges for her response to you. Your own emails may include up to five pages prior to her full, pre-paid report back to you. You can email her almost every day and get her reactions once a week, only pre-paying the $49 for her full page response.)
If you decide you want on-line therapy from Dr. Dailey personally, it usually starts with you calling her receptionist at her private office at 810-720-5400 to give your Visa and MasterCard numbers authorizing her to read and respond to your e-mails at $49 per full page e mail response from Dr. Dailey.
